Mr. DeLeonardo, the Managing Partner of DeLeonardo, Smith & Associates, has an extensive professional background that enables him to serve the various legal needs his clients face. Prior to law school, he worked for a number of years as a commercial realtor, and in doing so, handled the location and acquisition of investment properties including office buildings and shopping centers. He ultimately attended the University of Baltimore School of Law, where he graduated in the top 4% of his class. As a result of this prior professional background, he sought legal coursework that included contracts, criminal law, business law, real property, and estate planning.

Mr. Smith's experience in the justice system has spanned over 24 years, where he has served as a Police Officer, prosecutor and defense attorney.
Mr. Smith pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Maryland, College Park. He served as a Teaching Assistant within the University's Department of Criminal Justice and Criminology before graduating in 1984 with a Bachelor of Arts in Law Enforcement.

During her tenure at the University of Baltimore School of Law, Ms. Malan worked full time for a period of time for the Injured Workers' Insurance Fund managing Workers= Compensation claims. Ms. Malan accepted a position with Professor Byron L. Warnken, primarily doing appellate work. For several years, she researched and briefed more than 17 criminal and civil appeals in the Maryland Court of Special Appeals, the Maryland Court of Appeals, the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, and the United States Supreme Court. Of these 17 appellate briefs, 15 of them were decided favorably for Ms. Malan's client.

Roberta Windham graduated from Dickinson College with degrees in both Political Science and Spanish.Mrs. Windham previously worked for T. Rowe Price as a Retirement Specialist earning her Series 7 brokers license and managing a team dedicated to providing clients with accurate, timely, and understandable information concerning their retirement. During this period Mrs. Windham entered law school with an eye to increasing her knowledge of the legal impacts of long-range financial planning. She graduated from The University of Baltimore School of Law cum laude (with honors). To gain further experience, she also clerked for the Honorable Dennis M. Sweeney of the Howard County Circuit Court.
